  • For incoming 9th grade athletes, we recommend but not required that you register for Freshman Girls PE  class called Strength and Performance/Advanced PE.  The course number is PED 120.  This PE class is designed for the "student athlete". Taking this PE class counts as a  PE credit and can be taken instead of regular PE. Taking the course does not guarantee a spot on any team AND you don't need to be in the PED 120 to tryout.
  • All returning players trying out for a spot on JV or Varsity must register for Strength and Performance PED A/B class 3rd hour which is designed for girl's volleyball. Registering for this class doesn't guarantee you will make a team.  If you are selected, you are expected to be in this course ALL YEAR! No exceptions. We use this time for film break down,  positions development, seminars, scouting etc.  Seniors may choose to drop second semester. However, if you are going on to play collegiately it is recommended you stay enrolled.
