The "Dig Pink in Tukee", 3rd annual Volleyball event is underway! If you attended or participated in last year's event you already know what a great community event Dig Pink in Tukee is! Thanks to all the players and our community, last year the Dig Pink in Tukee event was the most successful individual High School event in the nation, raising close to $23,000!" In 2008 the Dig Pink in Tukee event was also the most successful individual High School event in the nation, raising close to $12,000!"

In October, Desert Vista and Mountain Pointe will join over 1000 Colleges, High Schools and Middle Schools across the country that are committed to supporting the goals of the Side-Out Foundation by participating in the Dig Pink Breast Cancer awareness rally. The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established to raise money and awareness about Cancer through the recreational activity of volleyball. The name underscores the purpose of the side-out foundation - a "side-out" in volleyball occurs when one team wins a point while its opponent is serving, thereby regaining serve or control of play. Likewise in the war against Cancer, The Side-Out Foundation supports health care professionals and researchers help women and men with Cancer maintain / regain control of their own lives through improved awareness, education, detection, treatment, and cure, thereby enabling them to live life to the fullest. The Side-Out Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 Non Profit, #20-2510044.

This promises to be both a great community sporting event as well as a fundraising effort to promote breast cancer awareness and research. The fundraising goal of the Side-Out Foundation is to raise over $1,000,000 this year! Let's do our part and get involved!

  Get ready for a PINK OUT, on October 20th!
• Support our Players selling Raffle tickets for great prizes!
  Raffle ticket sales to begin in September
• Direct friends & family to Dig Pink in Tukee website, to make a donation.

  Sponsorship opportunities available at the $50, $250, and $500+ levels
• Become Part of the Dig Pink Committee!
  This committee works with the Mountain Pointe committee to make this event come together. It's a fun volunteer opportunity that raises funds at the same time.
